We hosted Greg and Malannie Turp this week, as they traveled through Nebraska from Florida. We invited them to join our local motorcycle clubs supper ride that night. They were very pleasant congenial and interesting. Back home we visited and got to know each other a bit better. After an early breakfast, our guest were on their way. We could not of had a better experience. We are both looking forward to making more friends as we open our home to those two wheel travelers...and can't wait to use the service when we travel.

We joined MTN about a year ago and had our first guests a week or so ago. Mel and Joyce from Bone Cave, TN called desparately looking for "a room at the inn". Yes, we were available to host them for 2 nights as it turned out. What a lovely couple, touring FL and visiting family. We also met Mike and Cheryl Limebeer from Vancouver for coffee and a chat. These "guests" are now friends! Looking forward to guesting ourselves this summer on the way to the BMWMOA rally in Wyoming. Maybe we'll see ya on the way!

Barbara and I spent a night with Mel, Joyce was out of town, in Bone Cave, Tn. What a delightful stay, the only problem, I stayed up late on Saturday night, talking with Mel. Mel was a great host, and a good cook.

Randy Lifshotz was our first stayover Tuesday night. He arrived around 6pm, talked a little, ate a little, talked a little, had a terrific time. My wife and I opened our home to him, and he said he "got the best sleep last night." Randy has stayed at a couple more places on his almost 2 month tour, and is not done yet. Now we have another reason to visit N. C. or Florida in the next couple of years. We had a great time and have another person staying on the 12th of July. Thanks MTN, we really enjoyed ourselves this week and Randy did too!

I was excited today when I heard about the network on the radio. I am 86 yrs. old and just sold my bike last Nov. I still feel naked without one. I biked for nearly 40 years and did quite a bit of touring, such a great sport. I belong to CMA and have gone to many or the rallies in the past. I'd love to be a part of yur group but couldn't participate any more. Thanks for the happy times you'll provide for bikers, "power to ya" JWP
