Is hitting the open road on your beloved motorcycle one of your favorite pastimes? Do you enjoy meeting “locals” and learning from them about the area? Are you someone who likes to lend a helping hand? Do you like motorcycle camping because it’s inexpensive, but occasionally wish for a soft bed and a hot shower? If you answered yes to any of these questions then maybe Motorcycle Travel Network is for you.

There are no such things as coincidences.

There are no such things as coincidences.First of all we join MTN. Then Christi & Scott come stay with us
for 4 nights and we decide this MTN is pretty neat.

Then we stay with Jim & Barbara Snook in Panama City, FL. The Snook's send in an article to Wing World with a picture of the 4 of us (Snook's and Hatfield's) at dinner.

I get a phone call on the 3rd of April from a Mike Spivak (lives on Cape Cod and is a member of GWRRA) wanting to know if I was the Bill Hatfield that he had worked with in a paper mill 25 years ago. He had seen the article and picture the Snook's had sent in to Wing World. I said yes I was that Bill Hatfield. We chatted for awhile and I found out he was coming down to Hendersonville, NC on the 7 of April to pick up a new 2007 GoldWing.

Our Chapter was going to Charleston, SC that weekend in pursuit of the Region A Wanderer Plaque so Sandy & I decided to go to Hendersonville after the meeting in Charleston. We did and met
Mike at the Comfort Inn in Hendersonville, had a great dinner with
him and came home on Sunday the 8th.

There are no such things as coincidences. Things happen for a reason and I can't wait to see what develops next.

Thank you Christi & Scott for starting the MTN.
Thank you Jim and Barbara for sending in the story to Wing World and for hosting us last summer.
