Our first MTN guests

After several long hard days of riding, camping, and hiking in the Sierras, Ray and his daughter Heather showed up at our house cold, tired, hungry, an a little dusty. I had talked to Ray earlier and told him we would have a BBQ dinner when they arrived.
After a hot shower and a change of clothes their road weariness quickly changed to smiles.
We had a great dinner followed by some nice conversation. Both quickly started nodding off so off to bed they went.
After breakfast the next morning, Wanda and I climbed on our bike and led them on a tour of the Monterey and Carmel area. We parted ways in Carmel where they headed south on the coast highway (HWY 1) and we headed home.
I believe it was a great experience for all of us and I would do it again.
